Company DescriptionReporting to the Director, Owned Programing, The Manager of Linear and Content Distribution plays an important part in building Red
Media House's linear and VOD content distribution strategy, programming all US linear streams, and supporting the distribution of video on demand content across our Owned channels and with our many linear and syndication partners. We ask that you have experience with content and linear programming to steer our streaming and distribution strategy and inform what makes compelling offerings for our partners. You will work with colleagues across Programming, Partnerships, Content, and Communications to identify channel and programming opportunities, provide the best possible experience around important Red
events and projects, and identify new opportunities within the World of Red Bull.Job DescriptionPROGRAMMING AND PLANNINGBring linear and streaming knowledge to the Owned Programming team to help make strategic decisions around Red Bull's Owned linear channels and content for our partnersCreate linear programming plans for Red
North America's Owned channels, including web and OTTDistribution plans to partners across the companyUse internal and partner analytics to inform strategic decisions around linear and OTT offeringsCONTENT DELIVERYUse basic editing capabilities to edit video content for use on linear streamsWork with the Partnership team to understand partner programming needs and deliver those content experiencesManage the delivery of linear content and streams in the CMS, and support live programming linear needsWork directly with distribution partners to execute any in-app promotional and programming opportunitiesQualificationsBachelor's Degree preferred (or equivalent work experience)Minimum 5 years' experience in content operations, linear/streaming video, OTT, or related fieldsKnowledge of streaming programming and implementationBasic video editing skills in video editing programsExperience with multi-platform strategy, planning, and distributionDemonstrated strategic and analytical planningStrong time-management and organizational skillsInterpersonal and interdepartmental skills, with the ability to cultivate relationships with internal stakeholdersProgramming and multi-linear knowledge from TV, digital, or bothTailor streaming programming to our needs and important IndicatorsWell-versed in main digital streaming metrics and knowledge of the best performance metricsAdditional InformationThe base salary range for this position is $101K to $112K and cash incentives Actual salary offer may vary based on work experience.
