Position Overview:
New opportunity for a Marketing Proposal Professional to partner with Account Executives and Engineers in the development, preparation, and production of successful energy savings performance contracting and renewable energy project proposals.
This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our Chicago, IL or Worthington, OH office.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Account Executives and Engineers to produce successful energy efficiency and renewable technology project proposals;Partner with Business Development and Project Engineers to produce marketing and presentation materials for customer meetings, seminars, and conferences;Lead and support internal development, editing, coordination activities required to produce proposal and presentation materials;Develop internal electronic energy efficiency and renewable technology project database and catalogue of past, current, and future project opportunities;Gather and update supporting company data and customer project information;Design and implement methods to capture, track, and maintain customer project data;Assist in cultivating new avenues of proposal lead development;Update and monitor the proposal calendar and database tracking project status;Identify and implement production process improvements to ensure effective use of resources.
And;Perform other duties as required.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Communications, Marketing, Sustainability/related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education.
Minimum of 3 years energy savings performance contract or energy-related engineering proposal development and production experience.
Additional
Qualifications:
Superior organizational, project, time management, and resource planning skills.
Excellent verbal, written, computer and interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
Advanced MS Office and Adobe computer proficiency:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint required; Visio, Adobe InDesign or Photoshop and/or publishing/design software proficiency a plus.
Demonstrated knowledge of RFP/RFQ process, including state & federal proposal exposure desirable.
Prior experience within energy, engineering, or commercial construction project environment preferred.
Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast paced work setting.
Valid Drivers License issued by state of residence and in good standing.
Some travel may be required.
