The candidate will be counseling clients regarding legal issues relating to on air and online programming, including intellectual property, defamation and privacy. Will be handling related claims and litigations. Review and analyze on air and online programming to determine legal risks and work with client groups to mitigate those risks. Handle pre-litigation matters including claims and subpoenas, and manage outside counsel on litigations. Advise clients on wide range of issues in the broadcast and online realms, including right of publicity, intellectual property, libel and defamation. Review of scripts, programming and other related materials to identify legal issues. Work cooperatively with third-party producers and their counsel to mitigate risks.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
