Manage the Quality Assurance Program and drive identification and implementation of effective solutions to business / quality problems across the organization, including supplier, NPI and post launch product quality.
Contribute to the development of key quality procedures leveraging industry best practices.
Utilize quality analysis tools to validate resolution of any issues to ensure quality goals are met and sustainable.
Collect, maintain and document product and process specifications. When specifications are non-existent or incomplete, work with cross-functional teams, suppliers and 3rd party quality vendors to create and update specifications. Also, create and/or modify quality inspection requirements based on function, aesthetics, safety and regulation.
Acquire, manage and store quality related data. Prepare, maintain and present quality reports as required.
Review and analyze supply chain processes for continued improvement and implement changes as required.
Drive efforts to reduce defects for supplier processes with a focus on training, defect prevention and continuous improvements through the application and utilization of Lean/Continuous Improvement tools.
Work closely with Product Management teams to define product specifications/requirements.
Communicate vendor quality performance and corrective actions (issue, solution and status) on a weekly basis.
Develop and maintain a Supplier Complaint Notification system and where appropriate participate in supplier quality audits to drive improvements.
Develop and execute internal audit and layered audit programs and ensure compliance to quality standards and adherence to documented procedures.
Work with Customer Support to monitor customer feedback monthly and in conjunction with management team, develop actions to improve as appropriate.

Requirements
BS degree in engineering/science
Certification in quality application tools including SPC, APQP, PPAP
Six Sigma certification is a plus
3 - 5 years in Quality Assurance in a manufacturing or design setting
1 - 3 years of experience in consumer products and/or DR (Direct Response) / E-Commerce preferred
Experience working with print, packaging, optical and digital media
Experience in implementing and sustaining a product quality system
Knowledge of application of statistical methods
Ability to bench mark industry standards of quality performance and makeEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
