Project Accountant

We are looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for a wide range of responsibilities. One aspect of the job will be tracking project costs and progress, compiling forecasts and analyzing variations between actual and budgeted amounts. The other aspect of the job will be coordinating work between our clients, consultants and other 3rd party vendors. The candidate should be highly organized, high attention to detail and possess superior communication skills. Duties will include the following:

  • Track financial status of multiple high end construction projects

  • Determine financial status by comparing and analyzing plans and forecasts with actual results

  • Analyze results and identify trends in order to foresee potential variances

  • Reconcile billings by comparing and correcting billing packages

  • Provide information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports and making presentations of findings

  • Coordinate work schedules between multiple parties

  • Provide information by answering questions and requests from our clients

  • Meet with clients and update them on the status of requested work

  • Provide help to other departments with special projects


  • Ability to work independently and solve problems

  • Ability to analyze information and perform statistical analysis

  • Be able to participate in process improvement and strategy

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Superior communication skills (phone, email and in person)

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially excel)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
